Hi, I am Leon and you have stumbled upon my digital garden!

I write Free Software in Emacs. I am experienced in various kinds of domains and languages; From creating simple command line tools, desktop widgets and proper graphical applications, hacking on display servers and window managers, to building a real-time data evaluation pipeline for an electron microscope. As a programmer I believe in getting the details right, without taking shortcuts.

Besides that, I study experimental physics in Göttingen at the Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences. In my free time I enjoy cooking, photography, reading, alternative/vintage fashion and neat old things, as well as playing around with synthesizers.
